Marula Music has released Veld, a stereo width plugin for shaping the stereo image across up to four frequency bands. It allows users to keep bass centered while widening upper frequencies, or generate stereo width from mono sources.
The Stereo Engine offers Haas delay, Allpass decorrelation, Velvet noise and Chorus modulation. Its Anchor processing keeps fast transient attacks centered while allowing the sustain to spread.
A Phase Limiter reduces the Side signal in each band when correlation falls below a chosen threshold, leaving the Mid signal unchanged.
