RIPPLES has released Pulse, a free (with account sign up) rhythmic volume shaper for macOS and Windows.
Pulse draws the duck: sidechain pumping, gating and LFO shaping, synced to the host tempo or triggered from a sidechain input. Five shapes, PUMP, SOFT, TRI, SAW and GATE, plus FLIP to invert any of them. SYNC mode follows the host from 1/16 to 4 bars including dotted values; TRIG mode fires from a sidechain signal with a SENS control. DEPTH, CURVE, SMOOTH, MIX and OUT, a draggable curve, a gain-reduction meter and 16 presets:
