Hell Yes Loop Lab has released Tape It Easy, a tape-inspired audio effect for macOS and Windows focused on saturation, low-end weight, movement, wear and analog instability.
Tape It Easy can be used subtly for softened peaks, added density and gentle movement, or pushed further into heavier low-end bloom, darker wear, pitch drift, hiss and unstable transport behavior.
The plugin features Push for saturation and input drive, Glow for openness and brightness, Weight for low-end body and bloom, Wear for transient softening and aged compression, Drift for non-repeating wow, flutter and transport instability, and Dust for hiss, grit and worn texture.
Three tape speed settings change tone, low-frequency behavior and transport movement together:
- Slow, 7.5 IPS: darker, heavier and less stable.
- Classic, 15 IPS: balanced body, saturation and motion.
- Fast, 30 IPS: more open, tighter and controlled.
Tape It Easy also includes Blend and Level controls, seven factory presets, user preset saving and A/B/C snapshot slots.

Version 1.0.0 is available for macOS as Audio Unit and VST3, with native support for Intel and Apple Silicon, and for Windows as VST3.
