Ruchir Shah has announced that Orch 3.4 is now available.
Orch is a node-based DAW that separates musical structure, orchestration, instrument assignment and routing into independent layers. This allows composers to reorganise instrument templates, swap libraries and change routing without rebuilding the underlying musical material.
Musical ideas are stored in connected containers that can be reused, transformed, transposed, orchestrated and routed independently of the instruments that perform them.
Version 3.4 includes:
• Native VST3 instrument and effect hosting
• Visual audio routing and mixer graphs
• Audio freeze and WAV rendering
• Tag-based instrument routing rather than MIDI channels
• MIDI 1.0 and MIDI 2.0 support, including Polyphonic Aftertouch and Note Controllers
• Integrated sample and articulation management
• Sample library organisation, with collections, and audio previewing
• Structure-based composition and orchestration workflows.
Orch is designed for composers working with larger instrument templates, evolving arrangements and sample-library based workflows where musical structure and instrument choice need to remain flexible throughout the production process.
Videos, documentation, a downloadable demo and additional information are available on the product page.
Screenshots and videos may show third-party instruments and sample libraries used for demonstration purposes only. No third-party content is included with Orch.
