Chase Bliss Announces Big Time – Stereo Hybrid Echo Pedal with Analog Signal Path and 32-bit Delay Engine

Chase Bliss has announced Big Time, a stereo echo pedal running an analog input preamp and analog feedback limiter around a 32-bit/48kHz digital delay engine. It is $999 and ships around June 2026.

The analog limiter sits inside the feedback loop rather than at the output, a circuit decision that shapes how the pedal responds at longer feedback settings. When the feedback level is pushed, the limiter prevents the signal from compounding uncontrollably while preserving the tonal character of the repeats, producing a different result than a limiter placed at the output stage. The dry signal stays analog throughout, which matters for players whose rigs include analog signal chains where digital conversion in the dry path introduces latency or coloration.

Feature-wise: diffusion, multi-tap echo, tempo sync, interval-based delay times, and LFO modulation. Tap tempo is on the unit. MIDI covers clock, program change, and CC. CV and expression inputs are included alongside an external footswitch port, and preset storage works both internally and over MIDI. At $999, the Big Time sits at the top of Chase Bliss’s price range alongside the CXM 1978, the cost reflecting the depth of the analog/digital hybrid design and the stereo I/O configuration.
