discoDSP has released FX Bundle 3.8, featuring ThrillMe 3.11. The update introduces the Band Joiner, a Band 1 Mono toggle for bass-mono mastering, 21 new factory presets, refined visuals, and bug fixes.
What’s New
Band Joiner: Merge adjacent compression bands via Join pills between the Solo buttons. The three join points produce 8 routing modes, from four discrete bands to one full-range compressor (1/2/3/4, 1-2/3/4, 1/2-3/4, 1-2-3/4, 1/2/3-4, 1-2/3-4, 1/2-3-4, 1-2-3-4). Joined bands share one compressor and crossover; follower knobs mirror the leader non-destructively, so unjoining restores original settings.
Band 1 Mono: A Mono toggle below the Band 1 VU meter sums all channels to mono before compression, keeping bass phase-coherent for vinyl cuts, club systems, and mono-compatible mixes. Works on stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and immersive layouts. The Band 1 GR meter collapses to a single full-width bar when active.
21 new factory presets: Library reorganized into Mastering (4-Band), Mastering (Split/Joined) and Single-Track groups. New recipes: Master Transparent, Master Analog Warmth, Master Loud, Master Streaming, Master Sub+Air, Master 2-Band L/H, Master Sub-Safe, Master Full Clip, Master Full Fat, Vinyl Mastering, Kick Punch, Snare Crack, Bass DI Fat, Vocal Lead Tight, Vocal Backing Glue, Drum Bus Smash, Guitar Rhythm, Guitar Lead, Synth Bass, Piano Natural, 808 Sub and Podcast Voice.
Vinyl Mastering preset: Band 1 Mono engaged at a 150 Hz crossover, 2-3:1 ratios, slower attacks, and analog-modeled saturation for lathe-friendly masters that preserve transient detail without brick-wall limiting.
Visual refresh. Solo, Lock and Mono buttons darkened for stronger contrast against the new black panel.

discoDSP FX Bundle 3.8 is available now from discoDSP as a free update for existing owners. Demo versions for Windows, macOS and Linux can be downloaded from the product page. The bundle ships as Universal Binary 2 (native Intel and Apple Silicon), standalone application, AAX, Audio Unit, VST and VST3.
