Arturia releases V Collection 11

Arturia has released V-Collection 11, a significant update to their flagship software instrument suite.

V-Collection 11 introduces new instruments: the Jup-8000 V, a recreation of the Roland JP-8000; Pure LoFi, a hybrid sampler/synth focused on vintage sounds; Synthx V, based on the Elka Synthex; and MiniBrute V, a software version of Arturia’s own MiniBrute hardware synth. The update also includes rebuilt versions of the SEM V and overhauled Augmented Series instruments with YANGTZE and MALLETS now also included in the bundle. V Collection 11 comprises 45 software instruments in total, blending emulations, modern hybrid synth engines, modeled keyboards, and sampled acoustic sounds.

Included in V Collection 11:

This version introduces seven new instruments:

  • Jup-8000 V: A reproduction of the iconic Roland JP-8000, featuring its famed supersaw oscillator, and aimed at recreating dance sounds from the early 2000s and beyond. Includes the 7 engines from the original, a multi mode filter, multi-arpeggiator, expanded effects section, and modulation.
  • Pure LoFi: A tool designed for creating authentic LoFi sounds with warmth and grain. Features 3 LoFi engine types, 9 vintage hardware emulations, flexible filters, and a LoFi processor.
  • Augmented MALLETS: Blends sampled marimba, vibraphone, celeste, and tubular bells with synthesis. Features a hybrid sound engine, expanded articulations, morphing capabilities, and a cinematic focus.
  • MiniBrute V: Recreates the analog character of the hardware MiniBrute, elevated with 8-voice polyphony (plus mono mode), a built-in FX rack, and unison.
  • Synthx V: Resurrects the Elka Synthex, featuring its dual architecture, DCOs with Ring Mod & Cross-Modulation, CEM 3320 multimode filter, and chorus, plus modern enhancements.
  • Augmented YANGTZE: Combines traditional Chinese instrument samples (including Pipa, Guqin, Yangqin, Erhu, Zhonghu, Suona, Dizi, Xiao) with synthesis, featuring multiple sample layering, morphing, and customization.
  • SEM V (Rebuilt): A remodeled emulation of the Oberheim SEM. Features the classic SEM filter, dual oscillators, snappy envelopes, polyphony, and an advanced panel.

Augmented Series Update:

All instruments in the Augmented Series (STRINGS, VOICES, GRAND PIANO, BRASS, WOODWINDS, plus the new MALLETS and YANGTZE) feature a redesigned workflow, new features, and new sampled content and factory banks for Augmented STRINGS and VOICES.
