IrisOrbit has updated PolyArp, its two-part MIDI arpeggiator, to version 1.4.0.
New in this version:
- Independent Repeat modes for each hand: Off, Each, First, Last and Custom, with 1–16 plays in total. Custom 2,1,3 plays the first note twice, the second once and the third three times.
- MIDI CC and Aftertouch control of Repeat mode and Count through MIDI Map.
- Down/up direction, starting with the highest note and turning without doubling the end notes.
- Separate physical or virtual MIDI ports for the two hands, alongside their channel settings. These control direct MIDI output; the MIDI stream sent to the DAW stays combined.
- Undo/redo for up to 100 Draw edits in the current session. Dragging a Rate note enters Draw directly.
- Collapsible Settings for a wider grid. The upper lime lane now represents the right hand.
PolyArp 1.4.0 is available for macOS, Windows and Linux. It is a free update for existing PolyArp 1.x owners.
