Shane Audio has released v1.6 of its entire plug-in suite – 44 plug-ins for macOS and Windows. The update is free for existing owners.
What’s new:
- Shane FET – detector rebuilt from a measured step table of a classic FET compressor; attack, release and ratio now track the reference.
- Shane EQ – new COLOR mode with seven fixed curves measured from a reference mastering EQ, plus two vintage tube-EQ models.
- Shane BusComp – manual release times were 10x too slow (fixed); knee measured from a console bus compressor reference.
- Shane TubeComp – even harmonics restored in the tube stage; front-panel knobs redrawn.
- Shane Multi – a new detector mode with measured ballistics. Shane Limiter – six measured release modes. Shane DS – a constant-reduction de-essing mode.
- Shane Autotune – intermittent clicks fixed; MIX is now the correction amount.
- Shane EP – onset latency reduced from 350 ms to under 7 ms. Shane 60 – every preset now tuned to the octave.
- Shane Analog Delay – measured character section. Shane Dist – odd/even harmonic voicing fixed.
- All other plug-ins rebuilt, re-signed and notarized.
