Windows-G has announced the release of E-BitCrusher500 VST3, a free Windows-only VST3 bitcrusher plugin that can be used to introduce quantization noise and aliasing to any audio material through bit reduction (4-bit to 16-bit) with adjustable noise gain (-30 dB to +30 dB), and downsampling (1 to 200 factor).
E-BitCrusher500 VST3 also features Stereo, Mid, and Side processing modes to target specific parts of the stereo image. Boost or attenuate the incoming signal with Input Gain (-30 dB to +30 dB), and blend between the dry and bit-crushed signals with Dry/Wet (0% to 100%). Shape the audio with 12dB/oct high-pass (1 Hz – 20 kHz) and low-pass (20 Hz to 21 kHz) filters, and control the final level with Output Gain (-30 dB to +30 dB).
It supports Retina/high-DPI displays with a right-click “UI Zoom” menu that can be invoked anywhere on the GUI to increase the size of the plugin interface.
