e-instruments has announced the release of Pure Strings, an iOS app bringing professional-grade string sounds to mobile devices.
Pure Strings transforms iPhones and iPads into expressive string instruments, suitable for film scoring, pop production, orchestral arrangements, and live performance. It features nine sampled articulations and textures, morphable and blendable via an intuitive touch interface called the Morphpad. This allows users to seamlessly transition between sustain, pizzicato, staccato, harmonics, trills, tremolo, string machine, synth, and vintage tape string sounds.
