Sender Spike upgrades free SN Zero Synthesizer to v2.03 for Windows

Sender Spike has upgraded SN Zero Synthesizer to version 2.03.

With this version, SN Zero becomes fully production ready, capable to withstand the everyday pressures and demands of a professional music studio.

Fixed bugs:

  • Occasional crashes when loading patches or waveforms during sequencer playback.
  • WTed ignoring user-entered sample names during batch conversion.
  • Incorrect scaling of negative wavetable frame index modulation depth.
  • Incorrect wavetable frame modulation parameter readouts after wavetable change (until manipulating the respective parameter control).
  • Unscaled parameters sent to host (symptoms including e.g. automated parameter values seemingly randomly acting incorrectly, or, in some hosts, patches ending up with wrong automatable parameter values after loading a patch).
  • Incorrect initial output level of operator noise after patch load (i.e. patches with non-zero noise stuck on incorrect noise level until manipulating the noise parameter control).
  • ‘Copy Page’ and ‘Copy Operator’ commands failing to copy a waveform if it was a wavetable.

Extended DAW support:

  • Fix for plug-in resizing operation behaving incorrectly in some hosts (resizing operation didn’t resize host’s plug-in container window).

Minor changes:

  • Optional sound pack updated with example patches of standard ROMpler sounds, minimal standard DnB sound set, and a few essential wavetables.
  • Another batch of wavetables, overlooked in last revision, reconverted and updated in sound pack.
  • ‘Copy’ and ‘Init’ menus rearranged for speed of access.
