Saint Mike DSP has announced the release of Tamazight Metal Amp, a free guitar amplifier plugin designed to provide a mix-ready heavy metal tone without the need for complex signal chains.
Positioned as a complete production engine rather than a limited demo, Tamazight Metal Amp offers a streamlined signal path that includes pre-amp processing, a high-gain head, cabinet simulation, surgical EQ, and time-based effects.
Designed to solve the frustration of stacking multiple sims and pedals to achieve a usable tone, Tamazight Metal Amp provides a foundation for modern heavy music. The core high-gain amp character is paired with three cabinet modes to ensure tracks have the punch and clarity immediately upon loading.
Despite being free, the plugin features a fully integrated workflow typically reserved for paid suites. This includes a precision Noise Gate for tight rhythm playing, a built-in Tuner with output muting, and a Transpose knob (±12 semitones) for instant down-tuning and creative pitch shifting.
