MusicDevelopments updates RapidComposer to v5.5.6 and announces Autumn Sale with 40% discount

MusicDevelopments has released version 5.5.6 of RapidComposer, a maintenance update with bug fixes and workflow improvements, ensuring smoother composition and plug-in integration.

New in RapidComposer v5.5.6:

  • [Plug-ins] 256 channels (16 MIDI output buses) supported.

  • [Plug-ins] Improved channel menu in the track inspector: channels organized into sub-menus.

  • [Plug-ins] For channels >16, the bus index is now displayed when using {preset} as the track name.

  • [Plug-ins] Fixed MIDI CC sliders in the plug-in: sliders now send continuous MIDI CC events to the host.

  • Fixed various issues with velocity editing and min/max sliders in note editing mode.

  • Fixed: rendering phrases with variations and voicing (voicing was not applied).

  • Base URL is now automatically set when selecting AI service providers.

  • Fixed MIDI CC editing in long compositions.

  • Fixed possible deadlock when clicking on the master track scale.

  • Fixed: CC editor height reset in the Phrase Editor.

  • Fixed: duplicating a line/part did not properly duplicate MIDI CC curves.

  • Simplified rendering track variations logic.

  • Many other fixes and improvements.

This update is free for all RapidComposer 5 owners.
