This week’s top mixes include Falty DL and Four Tet at The Lot, the best Of Samo DJ and Powder and Gabber Eleganza’s Intense Styles.

Falty DL and Four Tet at The Lot. Electronic musicians and producers Drew Lustman and Kieran Hebden – FaltyDL and Four Tet respectively – get together at Brooklyn’s The Lot Radio to select a two-hour set of everything from breakbeat, electro, early 2-step, new electronic experimentations and dance tracks, including unreleased tunes. Best Of Samo DJ and Powder. Samo DJ has released a large discography of fun and left-field music, mostly for the dancefloor, on labels like Trilogy Tapes and Public Possession. Powder, aka Moko Shibata is a producer/DJ who has gained a large cult following and has released records via Samo’s own Born Free Records. 40 from Tokushima presents a mix of only Powder and Samo tracks. Label of the month: The Trilogy Tapes. RA pay tribute to a decade of “an exceptionally curated outlet for noise, techno, house, drone and much more” in the form of Will Bankhead’s Trilogy Tapes imprint by making it their label of the month, accompanied by 90 minutes of “strange, beatless sounds” recorded in his basement. Gabber Eleganza’s Intense Styles. Rave and hardcore styles from Italian archivist Gabber Eleganza celebrating the release of his new Never Sleep EP via Presto!? Records. On his intention for the mix he explains: “I tried to hybridise, pitching and connect different music genres with a common hardcore feeling.” Stream above, an interview with the artist here.
