A fresh disco-flavoured house track honouring Chicago’s legacy as the home of house music.
Out now via Salted Music, “Can’t Stop” brings together Andrew Emil, Red Eye, and Ron Carroll in a collaborative single that blends classic disco and house influences. The release marks a meeting of three artists whose collective roots trace deep into the legacy of Chicago house, now released through Miguel Migs’ Salted Music label.
Ron Carroll, often referred to as “The Minister of Sound,” has long been recognised for his vocal contributions to seminal house tracks. With credits alongside artists like Axwell and Bob Sinclar, and affiliations with labels such as Defected and Subliminal, Carroll’s presence remains a mainstay on global dancefloors.
Andrew Emil, a classically trained percussionist and producer, has a discography that spans over 200 credits with releases on OM Records, Farris Wheel Recordings, and 20/20 Vision. Based in Chicago, Emil also co-founded Viva Acid, a community-centred initiative and annual music summit.
Red Eye has built his reputation on emotionally rich productions that incorporate melodic depth and groove-centric arrangements. His work has been supported by both mainstream and underground DJs, with releases on labels such as Defected and Dirtybird.

A nod to Chicago’s history
“Can’t Stop” integrates live-sounding loops, sample-driven layers, and polished production to create an upbeat track. It’s described by the artists as celebratory, rooted in community, and intentionally reflective of the enduring house ethos established in Chicago during the 1980s and 1990s. While released through the West Coast–based Salted Music, a label founded by Miguel Migs and known for soulful and groove-oriented house, the single maintains a distinct Midwest flavor.
“Can’t Stop” is out now and available on all major digital platforms.
