Clearroom has released version 1.0 of Clearroom, a room and headphone calibration app for macOS with an AU / VST3 plugin and a system-wide audio driver.
Clearroom measures a room with any measurement microphone that has a calibration file, scores the measurement before it corrects anything, and shows one of four words: Full, Tone, Limited or Redo needed. On Redo needed it will not continue.
Correction aims at a target the user chooses, Harman by default, with ten intensities to audition. 782 headphone models are profiled and need no measurement. The plugin adds no latency at 48 kHz and an offline bounce with it loaded is identical to one without it.
Version 1.0 corrects magnitude; there is no phase correction and it is stereo only.

Clearroom runs on macOS 12.3 and later on Apple Silicon and 10.15 and later on Intel.
