Ivosight has released version 2.4 of Soundop, a comprehensive Windows application for professional audio recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
Changes in Soundop 2.4:
- Refined User Interface: Improved the visual organization of tracks and automation lanes to make track structure and relationships clearer.
- Improved Editor Layout: Adjusted the window layout of the Audio File Editor and Multitrack Editor, moving the scroll bar and time ruler to the top of the editor.

- Configurable Mixer Panel: Added support for configuring visible blocks in the Mixer panel.
- Process Audio from the Project Panel: Added support for processing audio files with a processor directly from the Project panel.
- Global Loop Setting: Changed the loop implementation so that the loop setting is now global across all open projects.
- Improved Save Confirmation: Added Yes to All and No to All options when saving projects while closing multiple projects.
- Improved Recent Files: Recently closed files are now added to the top of the recent file list.
- Quick Access to Recent Files: Added commands to open the most recently opened audio file and Mixspace.
- Improved Send Creation: Changed the send creation workflow so the send button now opens a menu for directly selecting the output destination.
- Open Projects from the Browser: Added support for opening project files directly from the Browser panel.
- Custom Action Names: Added support for editing action names in the Action List to help identify actions with different settings.
- Bug Fixes and Refinements: Refined the user interface and fixed various bugs.
