GSi has updated Piano Studio, the physically modeled grand piano plugin, to version 1.1.0 with the following changes:
- Improved piano physical model with less “chorusy” attack transients, more stable tails, increased dynamic response.
- Improved limiter effect with properly filtered side-chain.
- Improved microphone and preamplifier responses, differences between models are more evident and effective.
- Improved MIDIFile viewer with better horizontal scroll and cursor auto-follow feature.
- Added “Output Level” global option to boost or attenuate the overall output level.
- Added “Enable Half Pedal” global option to support piano controllers equipped with a continuous sustain pedal.
- Added “Polyphony” global option with three possible choices.
- MidiFile WAV renderer now shows a progress bar and can be aborted at any time.
- Changed welcome screen for the iPad version.
- Fixed frozen EQ editor while the audio process was in idle.
