Pinzu releases Pro versions of its four SORYNO mixing plug-ins (Windows VST3)

Pinzu has released the Pro versions of SORYNO, its set of four mixing plug-ins for Windows in VST3 format: an EQ, a compressor, a limiter and a de-esser. The free versions remain available at no cost, and all eight editions have been updated to version 1.0.1.

There is no license activation in any edition. The plug-ins run offline, and there is no limit on the number of machines. Updates are free.

SORYNO EQ Pro

SORYNO EQ Pro adds five bands to the three of the free version, for eight in total, and each band can be set to Bell, Low Shelf, High Shelf or Notch:

  • Dynamic operation, so a band acts only while the signal is loud.
  • Mid/Side, so a band can work on the centre or on the sides alone.
  • A linear phase mode for mastering, in three quality settings.
  • Auto gain, an analyzer with pre/post switching, and 112 presets.

SORYNO COMP Pro

SORYNO COMP Pro adds a side-chain section that decides what the compressor listens to:

  • An external or internal detector, with its own high-pass and low-pass filters.
  • LISTEN, which plays back the detector signal so the filters can be set by ear.
  • Parallel compression through a mix control, knee, RMS detection and look-ahead.
  • Six character models, automatic gain, automatic release and 38 presets.

SORYNO LIMIT Pro

SORYNO LIMIT Pro adds true-peak limiting, which holds back the peaks that occur between samples:

  • A selectable oversampling factor for the limiting itself.
  • An adjustable loudness target, where the free version is fixed at -14 LUFS.
  • Four character models, dither and noise shaping, stereo link and a mix control.
  • There are 24 presets.

SORYNO DEESS Pro

SORYNO DEESS Pro adds split-band operation, which works on the sibilant band alone and leaves the rest of the spectrum as it was:

  • Band width, attack, release, look-ahead and a mix control.
  • An automatic threshold that follows the average level of the material.
  • Processing on the stereo signal, on the mid alone or on the sides alone.
  • There are 36 presets.

The free versions are unchanged in what they do and remain available: SORYNO EQ Free, SORYNO COMP Free, SORYNO LIMIT Free and SORYNO DEESS Free. Version 1.0.1 corrects display issues only; the processed audio is identical to 1.0.0.

The Pro versions are 500 JPY each until 9 October 2026, and 1,980 JPY after that. They require Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and a VST3 host. There is no macOS version.
