Standalone Audio Releases Stella ’71 Guitar Amp Emulation Plugin (VST3, AU & AAX)

Standalone Audio has announced the release of Stella ’71 for macOS and Windows (AU, VST3, AAX).

Stella ’71 is modeled around a 1971 American silverface 5-watt combo, capturing the interaction between its preamp, tone stack, power section, speaker, and cabinet. Separate Volume and Master controls let you shape breakup without losing level control, while the Treble and Bass controls cover the original tone circuit. Switch to MOD mode (Tweed style mod), and the tone stack is bypassed, producing a louder, more immediate response with extra gain and harmonic bite.

The cabinet section includes Modern Condenser and Vintage Tube microphone options, and adjustable room capture.

Pricing and Availability

Stella ’71 runs as AU, VST3, and AAX on Universal macOS and as VST3 and AAX on Windows x64.

Stella ’71 costs $15 during the introductory period. It’s free for owners of the Standalone plug-in host (during the introductory period).
