Hot Shower Audio releases bathROOMs – free reverb built from five bathrooms (VST3, AU & AAX)

Hot Shower Audio has released bathROOMs, a reverb plugin built from five different bathrooms.

bathROOMs is made by Alejandro Ramirez (Ramalejo), a mix engineer who has been part of 4 Latin Grammy-winning projects across 23 nominations.

Features:

  • Reverb plugin built from five different bathrooms.
  • Each bathroom has its own size and tonal balance: Porcelain, Cove, Greenhouse, Lavender and Baldosa (a Colombian bathroom with hydraulic tile and an electric shower). They range from small and bright to large and dark.
  • Controls are Pre-Delay, Decay, Position, Surface, Temp, Wash, Slap and Dry/Wet.
  • A built-in ducker — threshold, ratio, attack, release, with an optional sidechain input — pulls the reverb down while the source is playing, so a vocal stays intelligible without automating the send.
  • 27 artist presets from five mix engineers and producers, organised by artist in the preset menu.
