Scaler Music has announced the release of Scaler 3.3 (VST/AU/AAX/Standalone).
This update makes many improvements across Motions, Voice Grouping, Detection and more, as well as adding a new Multi-Bind function and introducing a unified timeline across pages.
Scaler 3 is now on sale for $79 for a limited time.
New in Scaler 3.3
Multi-Bind
Bind always let you play your chords using keyboard notes, but with Multi-Bind, you can attach multiple tracks to different keyboard regions to experiment with combinations between parts.
Multi-Bind can turn your keyboard into a live, multi-lane performance controller.
New Motions Workflow
Motions now preview with the track’s sound, can be changed more easily when already loaded, and can be varied clip by clip on the timeline.
Horizontal and Vertical Resize
Making Scaler 3 more flexible for use on any monitor, resizing can be useful for working with large arrangements, and for browsing more chord sets and scales.
New Content
Additional Chord Sets expand the library of jumping off points for creating chord progressions. New Motions offer different pre-recorded performances for chords.
Detection Overhauled
Scaler 3.3 adds detection history to keep track of previously detected chords and scales, with a new ‘Detect’ category in the Chord Sets browser giving you access to past detections. MIDI Detection can now use the internal Scaler keyboard as an input.
Universal Timeline
The timeline is now consistent and visible between Browse, Create and Arrange pages.
