Remi Blaze has released Torchit, a free saturation and drive plugin for macOS — part of a growing collection of free, genre-focused tools built by a house and tech-house producer with releases on many popular, well-respected labels. Torchit is built to keep production sessions creative.
Torchit brings four analog-style characters — Warm, Grit, Tube, and Tape — from subtle warmth to aggressive, club-ready grit, with a Hard / Medium / Soft knee and per-mode Drive to shape the bend. It’s designed to sit well on busy, hot channels: input gain, Auto-Gain, and a soft-clip ceiling keep transients and headroom intact while adding weight, and a phase-aligned Delta monitor lets you hear exactly what it’s adding.
Also on board — tone shaping (tilt EQ, air/weight shelf, morph filter), an anti-mud high-pass filter, a Mix control for parallel saturation, oversampling (Draft 4× / HQ 8×), and 16 factory presets.
