ISINDI Audio Software has released Retrig MP Trigger, a drum replacement and reinforcement plug-in for Windows and macOS.
Retrig MP Trigger detects hits in recorded or live drum signals and uses them to trigger user-loaded samples. It can be used to replace an original drum sound, reinforce it or add additional sample layers while following the dynamics of the source performance, including accents and ghost notes.
The plug-in features:
- Four independent sample slots.
- Up to 12 velocity layers per slot.
- Up to 5 round-robin variations per velocity layer.
- Support for user-loaded WAV sample libraries.
- A single-window interface with direct access to detection, sample and playback controls.
- Studio Mode for drum replacement and reinforcement during mixing.
- Low-latency Live Mode for real-time triggering from acoustic drums and other transient-based audio sources.
- Instance Link for coordinating detection between multiple plug-in instances and reducing unwanted triggers caused by microphone bleed.
Sample libraries created with ISINDI Remiq AD Sampler can also be loaded into Retrig MP Trigger for studio replacement, reinforcement and live triggering.
Pricing and availability:
Retrig MP Trigger is available now for $39 as a 64-bit VST3 plug-in for Windows 10/11 and as a 64-bit VST3 and Audio Unit plug-in for macOS. The macOS version supports Intel and Apple Silicon computers.
