Immanent Audio has announced the release of Harmonic Saturator, a free musically-voiced VST3-compatible saturation plugin for Windows designed to add harmonic density, weight, and definition while preserving clarity and dynamics.
Harmonic Saturator provides classic soft-clipping saturation that enriches transients and adds harmonic complexity, helping tracks feel fuller, more present, and more cohesive in a mix.
Its tone-shaping approach allows saturation to be focused toward low-end richness or upper-harmonic detail, making it equally effective for adding warmth and body or for enhancing articulation and presence. The saturation responds to the character you emphasize, making it easy to tailor texture to the needs of each track.
A gain-compensated output stage maintains saturation character as levels are reduced, preventing the effect from disappearing when the track is seated back into the mix. This makes it easy to shape texture first, then adjust placement without sacrificing density, punch, or tonal impact.
