atkAudio has announced the release of atkSpeechLimiter, a free speech-limiter audio plugin.
atkSpeechLimiter helps maintaining consistent audio peak levels or can optionally function as a de-esser. Although atkSpeechLimiter can work on different kinds of materials, it’s been designed for human voice. A good usage example would be to chain two atkSpeechLimiters, and put the second into De-esser mode to control sibilance after limiting.
