Audiofier has launched the MICRON Series, a collection of Kontakt instruments designed for focused sound design and streamlined workflow. Each library centers on a specific musical concept, providing targeted sonic material suitable for cinematic, ambient, and electronic productions.

The MICRON Series features three distinct engines:

  1. XY Type: Versatile atmospheres, playable instruments, and loops with intuitive control.
  2. Ferrago: Flexible phrase and loop manipulation in all keys.
  3. Drum Type: Dynamic drum loops with editable patterns.

The initial release features 12 libraries, all built on the XY engine format, which includes:

  • XY Playable: Four-layer playable instruments with expressive XY pad control.
  • XY Atmospheres: Multi-layered evolving textures for immersive soundscapes.
  • XY Loops: Rhythmic and melodic loops with intuitive XY pad and sequencing.

MICRON is planned as a continuously growing series, with new libraries released monthly to expand the sonic palette systematically. This approach aims to offer precise tools without unnecessary complexity, supporting efficient music production.
