Audiolatry has released LoQuest, a free virtual instrument plugin aimed at lo-fi, ambient, retro, and cinematic music production.
LoQuest includes 22 original presets such as airy keys, warm pads, dusty organs, bent plucks, and ambient strings. Each sound is designed to provide character and atmosphere straight out of the box.
The plugin also includes basic sound-shaping tools:
- ADSR envelope controls.
- LFO-based modulation.
- Built-in effects: chorus, distortion, delay, and reverb.
- Filter section, poly/mono switch, velocity, and glide.
LoQuest is available in VST3 (Windows) and VST3/AU (macOS) plugin formats and is offered as a free download. All sounds are 100% royalty-free.
