Noisebud has released version 1.60 of Peach, a dynamic processor built around a concept of direct gain shaping.
Unlike traditional compressors or expanders, Peach allows users to set the exact gain applied to the signal above and below a threshold, independently. The plugin includes filters to focus the processing on specific parts of the frequency spectrum and stereo field.
New in v1.60:
- Oversampling (2× and 4×) for both the upper and lower clippers.
- Curve control for shaping transitions between gain zones.
- Stereo field selection (L/R/M/S) in both sidechain and output filters.
- Mute Above and Mute Below – allows full gating behavior.
