Ableton Live 10.1 update is here! The new free update of Ableton Live DAW brings new tools and capabilities to the creative workflow, from sound creation and shaping to music editing and music finalization.
The synthesizer Wavetable, which was added with Live 10, will also be able to import its own wavetables or samples with the update to 10.1, which will increase the tonal spectrum. In addition, the Channel EQ is new: this is a simple equalizer with EQ curves and gain settings for a variety of audio material.
The shapes of the filters adapt to musically sounding results to the regulator settings. The delay combines the well-known Simple Delay and Ping Pong Delay and extends the functionality. The control surface of the new effect contains the controls for the ping pong behavior and the jump, fade in, and pitch parameters of the original effects.
In addition, users can now choose between many different automation shapes, you can stretch and bend automation, enter numeric values using the keyboard, and more easily access clip modulation in Session View.
Live even detects curved waveforms in the automation and can transform multiple breakpoints into C- and S-shaped automation for faster editing. Switching between detail views and the overall view should now be faster, thanks to simplified shortcuts, a pinch zoom feature, and a scalable Arrangement Overview window at startup. Also Live now supports VST3 plug-ins.
The Ableton Live 10.1 update is free for all Live 10 owners. Find more details here: Ableton Live 10.1 Update
